Los arrecifes de Bali se encuentran entre los biotopos m\u00e1s ricos en especies del mundo. Aqu\u00ed confluyen tres sistemas oce\u00e1nicos diferentes que reciben el aporte de cenizas volc\u00e1nicas ricas en nutrientes. El tipo de acuario que recrea estas comunidades de arrecifes lo llamamos Bali Reef. Un Arrecife de Bali es especialmente adecuado para el principiante dedicado. La mezcla t\u00edpica y rica en especies de diferentes corales, junto con una poblaci\u00f3n de peces seleccionada, hace que el mantenimiento sea bastante f\u00e1cil. Este tipo de biotopo depende de la variedad de diferentes especies de corales y peces que no compiten entre s\u00ed, sino que interact\u00faan de la forma m\u00e1s positiva posible. Un acuario de biotopo Bali Reef es rico en nutrientes y tiene valores de agua ligeramente elevados que proporcionan una excelente estabilidad biol\u00f3gica. Un bajo mantenimiento y un peque\u00f1o n\u00famero de productos de cuidado son suficientes para un funcionamiento satisfactorio. El biotopo del Arrecife de Bali contiene toda la biodiversidad de los arrecifes de coral tropicales. En la parte superior, en el borde del arrecife, los acrop\u00f3ridos de r\u00e1pido crecimiento extienden sus ramas hacia la luz, y cuanto m\u00e1s abajo de la pared exterior del arrecife se mire, m\u00e1s grandes ser\u00e1n los p\u00f3lipos de los corales duros. Aqu\u00ed se encuentran los corales Fungia, anchos y planos, o las cabezas de Euphyllia, que fascinan por su fuerte fluorescencia verde, o los Duncanopsammia, que proliferan con p\u00f3lipos gruesos y carnosos. En medio, a mitad de camino, aqu\u00ed y all\u00e1 un coral cuero estira sus p\u00f3lipos hacia las aguas abiertas, y tambi\u00e9n hay espacio para gorgonias simbi\u00f3ticas o un coral blando Litophyton. Entre los corales, se pueden ver anthias de color naranja brillante, tangs amarillos hawaianos y tambi\u00e9n algunos coloridos peces mariposa. El hecho de que este Arrecife Bali tambi\u00e9n albergue especies caribe\u00f1as como las gramas reales no perturba en absoluto este t\u00edpico tanque para principiantes, al igual que las gorgonias caribe\u00f1as.
